Como Sacerdote, o Bispo eleito exerceu diversas funções, incluindo Vigário Paroquial da Catedral de São Vicente de Paulo; Vice-Reitor e Reitor do Seminário Maior São João Batista e Acompanhador Diocesano dos Seminaristas.
O licenciado em Teologia pelo Instituto Católico de Madagascar (I.C.M.) da Arquidiocese de Antananarivo também atuou como Presidente da Confraria Diocesana e membro da Comissão Diocesana para a Catequese.
Foi Vice-Diretor da Rádio Diocesana; membro do Colégio de Consultores; um Vigário Geral e um Administrador Diocesano da Diocese Católica de Ihosy. Fora do país, o Bispo eleito serviu como Capelão do Hospital em Freiburg, na Alemanha, e Pároco Adjunto de Sainte-Thérèse, Friburgo, na Suíça.
No momento da sua nomeação como Bispo da Diocese de Tôlagnaro, Mons. Razafitsimialona servia como professor e ecônomo no Seminário Maior São João Batista, Vohitsoa, na Diocese Católica de Antsirabé.
Uma vez consagrado Bispo, o sacerdote nascido em Malgaxe servirá como sexto Ordinário Local da Diocese de 45.000 quilômetros quadrados que foi erigida em janeiro de 1896.

Né en octobre 1969 dans le diocèse d’Ambositra, l’évêque élu Razafitsimialona a été ordonné prêtre du diocèse catholique d’Ihosy en août 1998, après avoir terminé ses études sacerdotales au grand séminaire de Fianarantsoa.
Mgr Razafitsimialona a commencé sa formation sacerdotale au petit séminaire de l’Immaculée Conception à Farafangana. Il a effectué son service national à Faratsiho, dans le diocèse catholique d’Antsirabé, à Madagascar.

Le titulaire de la licence en théologie de l’Institut catholique de Madagascar (ICM) de l’archidiocèse d’Antananarivo a également été président de la confrérie diocésaine et membre de la Commission diocésaine de catéchèse.
Il a été vice-directeur de la radio diocésaine ; membre du Collège des Consulteurs ; un Vicaire général et un administrateur diocésain du diocèse catholique d’Ihosy. À l’étranger, l’évêque élu a été aumônier de l’hôpital de Fribourg en Allemagne et curé adjoint de la paroisse Sainte-Thérèse de Fribourg en Suisse.
Au moment de sa nomination comme évêque du diocèse de Tôlagnaro, Mgr. Razafitsimialona était maître de conférences et économe au grand séminaire Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Vohitsoa, dans le diocèse catholique d’Antsirabé.
Une fois consacré évêque, le prêtre d’origine malgache sera le sixième Ordinaire du lieu du diocèse de 45 000 kilomètres carrés érigé en janvier 1896.

Born in October 1969 in the Diocese of Ambositra, Bishop-elect Razafitsimialona was ordained a Priest for the Catholic Diocese of Ihosy in August 1998 after completing his Priestly studies at the Major Seminary of Fianarantsoa.
Monsignor Razafitsimialona started his Priestly formation at the Immaculate Conception Minor Seminary in Farafangana. He carried out his national service in Faratsiho in Madagascar’s Catholic Diocese of Antsirabé.
As a Priest, the Bishop-elect has served in various capacities, including Parish Vicar of the Cathedral of St. Vincent De Paul; Vice-Rector and Rector of St. John the Baptist Major Seminary, and Diocesan accompanier of Seminarians.
The holder of Licentiate in Theology at the Catholic Institute of Madagascar (I.C.M.) in Antananarivo Archdiocese also served as the President of the Diocesan Confraternity and member of the Diocesan Commission for Catechesis.
He served as the Vice-Director of the Diocesan Radio; a member of the College of Consultors; a Vicar General, and a Diocesan Administrator of the Ihosy Catholic Diocese. Outside the country, the Bishop-elect has served as the Hospital Chaplain in Freiburg in Germany and Assistant Parish Priest of Sainte-Thérèse, Friborg in Switzerland.
At the time of his appointment as the Bishop of Tôlagnaro Diocese, Mons. Razafitsimialona was serving as lecturer and bursar at St. John the Baptist Major Seminary, Vohitsoa, in the Catholic Diocese of Antsirabé.
Once he is Consecrated Bishop, the Malagasy-born Priest will serve as the sixth Local Ordinary of the 45,000 square-kilometer Diocese that was erected in January 1896.
The Diocese has a population of 126,770 Catholics, representing 9 percent of the total population in the Diocese, according to 2020 statistics. The Diocese is part of the Ecclesiastical Province of Toliara.
